A little bit about me and my "fellow coaches"
MINA
My mind fondly travels back to one particular evening spent with a dear friend. I remember telling him “I want more in life – I want to experience more”. He chuckled and replied “Mina, you have already lived more lives in your lifetime than most people”. I guess there is some truth in that. I have never been a person that took the road most travelled or the easy way out.
I am intrigued by the human psyche, the power of our minds, the internal strength and capabilities we all possess without even realising it. To me there is nothing more beautiful than the awakening, witnessing someone step into their power and becoming a better version of themselves.
And that is why I am here.
To be your guide on this beautiful journey called life.
Together we will create awareness around your current circumstances, identify your personal needs and values, align your actions with your WHY and strategically conquer challenges, whilst finding happiness in the pursuit of working towards your goals and building the life you want.
One constant in my life has been my deep appreciation for nature. I thoroughly enjoy spending time outdoors and around animals. For me there is no better way to shut out the noise, cultivate mindfulness and “reconnect” to my core values, which is something we all need from time to time. Hence, I sometimes call upon my “fellow coaches” Zoe and Lorenzo to join a session in nature and help a client decompress.
ZOE
Everyone needs a best friend! Meet mine.
Zoe has been my most loyal companion since 2020 and like a shadow accompanies me whenever, wherever she can. Many of you that have spent time with dogs will know the unconditional love & support they offer.
Still young and playful, Zoe does sometimes forget that she is a 40 kg Rottweiler which is why her daily walks is a must. The rest of the day she spends on her trampoline, carrying her favourite soft toy, enjoying open window car rides, swimming, sleeping on my feet or eagerly waiting at the door for her best friend to arrive for evening playtime.
Zoe has started attending community events and visiting old age homes. It has been such a pleasure to witness the joy she brings to the community and how she brightens up people’s days.
LORENZO
This gentle giant has had a pretty tough start in life. Not much of his history is known apart from him being “bred for success” and presumably not being the best match with his first owner. After changing homes, owners & trainers about 6 times over a period of 3 years he was labelled a bad and unrideable horse. A kind farrier came to his rescue just in time to save him from the fatal bullet and this is where our journey started back in 2013.
There is something really special about gaining the trust and affection of a hurt soul. By now a decade has passed since Lorenzo and I first formed an unbreakable bond and he has matured into a calm, content and trusting fellow. He always greets with a happy nicker, loves being groomed and spoiled with apples & carrots.
Though he has gracefully aged and is living a peaceful life in paradise with his best friend, which allows for ample roaming and grazing, he never lost his heightened awareness and ability to reflect emotions to the people that surround him.
